Welcome to a two day possibilitiy to expand your practice and experience!
Dive deep during a delicious weekend and experience the magical and joyful blending of yoga, acrobatics and healing arts.
Most of the Workshop time we will focus on the acrobatic Solar Practice of AcroYoga:
With fiery and playful Warm Ups we are preparing our bodys to get into the practice of Inversions and acrobatic Flying.
We will enter the magic land of Handstands and fly through different acrobatic universes like spinning, popping and special inversions.
Foundations of bodymechanics, inversion and counterbalances will guide us through this session. We are playing with weight distribution, quality of movement, alignments and bone stacking as well as with the idea of flow, simplicity and ease.
In the end of those 2 days we are landing with the exploration of the healing practices of Thai Yoga Massage and Therapeutic Flying.
We develop a feeling for fundamental principles of self connection, touch, listening and letting go. Later we bring this experience in the air and connect again to this principles while supporting and being supported through Therapheutic Flying.
Its not requiered to bring a partner.
Level: Its recommended to have basic experience of AcroYoga: you should know how either fly or base Bird, Star, Throne, Backbird, Shoulderstand, Cartwheel.

ABOUT John Karvelis (Greece) & Julia Deka (Germany)
We met during an AcroYoga Solar Immersion in Greece where we both discovered beside our love for the Solar path of the practice, that we will be soon together in Mexico in the AcroYoga Level 2 Teacher Training.
Directly after this we will come to Freiburg together to share our favourite moves, transitions and postures with you!
ABOUT John Karvelis
John Karvelis was born and raised in Volos Greece. From his childhood he was doing athletics attending competitions as he was practising in periods with gymnastics, diving and martial arts.
While living and working in Athens met the world of yoga that changed completely his life. He is a certified Acroyoga.org teacher, yoga teacher, body worker and aerialist. He love to combine the strength elements of acrobatics with the quality of contact in body and mind in every partnership.
Creating safety in his classes, he pays attention in the details of the practice that make the most difficult acrobatics effordless succed.
Basing at the moment Athens, he has been travelling through Greece, England, Netherlands, Cyprus, Turkey, Singapure and Indonesia sharing his passion, teaching workshops and giving acrobatic performances.
ABOUT Julia Deka
Julia grew up with the practice of meditation and yoga. Today she is a Yogateacher, Certified AcroYoga Teacher and AY-Fit Trainer. After studying Sanskrit, Cultural Anthropology and Experiental Education she connected deeply with AcroYoga and ThaiYogaMassage.
Julia has always been passionate about different moving arts like Dance, Theater and Contact Improvisation and its here biggest dream to share her experience and create a space, where people can meet, connect, move and get in touch.
