Welcome to a one day possibility to expand your practice and experience!
Dive deep into a delicious full day of acrobatics and playfulness. You will get to experience the magical and joyful blending of yoga, acrobatics and healing arts.
In a safe and warm environment you can expand your limits and grow beyond what you have thought is possible.
Most of the Workshop time we will focus on the acrobatic Solar Practice of AcroYoga:
With fiery and playful Warm Ups we are preparing our bodies to get into the practice of Inversions and acrobatic Flying.
We will enter the magic land of Handstands and fly through different acrobatic universes like spinning, popping and special inversions.
Foundations of body mechanics, inversion and counterbalances will guide us through this session. We are playing with weight distribution, quality of movement, alignments and bone stacking as well as with the idea of flow, simplicity and ease.
In the end of this day we are landing with the exploration of the healing practices of Thai Yoga Massage and Therapeutic Flying.
We develop a feeling for fundamental principles of self-connection, touch, listening and letting go. Later we bring this experience in the air and connect again to this principles while supporting and being supported through Therapeutic Flying.
It’s not required to bring a partner.
Level: As we build the workshops progressively you will get the foundations from the first to be able to do the second.
Session 1: 10:30 – 13:00 / Beginners & Intermediate Level
Fun with foundations!
To learn the foundations is important no matter what you do! The first workshop is geared towards you who is new to acroyoga or who wants to refine and better your basic foundations. By building a solid ground everything else becomes easier! So no matter if you are new och if you want to deepen your understanding of the basics, we will have a challenge for you!
Session 2: 14:30 – 17:00 / Intermediate Level
Washing-machines – Break them down to build them up
Washing machines in acrobatics are sequences that starts and ends with the same pose. Therefore we can just keep them spinning. In this workshop we look at how washing machines are built up and how we can learn them in an efficient way. Even if you are quite new to acroyoga you can still attend and will have plenty of success stories to take home. Good energy, lots of fun and quite some bodywork is promised!
