Whip it, pop it, spin it!
Starting with laying the foundations of flying, both on hands and feet of the base as well as in the air, we will then take flight and speed up! Be prepared for a fun and exhilarating weekend of speed-filled fun and air-time!
Popping, also known as icarian acrobatics, is the skill of throwing the flyer into the air and then catching them again. Often the position of the flyer is changed while being air-borne. We will start with some easier alternatives and gradually build up the practise for higher and more spinning flights!
Whips are fast moving transitions. We will work with calibrations and step-by-step instructions on how to make them work. As we get more comfortable basing and flying them, the speed and joy will be increased.
At the end of this two days we will cool down and relax with some dynamic elements of Thai-Yoga Massage – while rocking and constantly moving the body of the receiver deep relaxation and letting go of tensions and blockages is possible.
The level of the workshop is intermediate to advanced and it is not recommended for someone new to acroyoga. If you have played for a while and want to step up your practise a bit, this will be a fun yet challenging weekend! Join us and we will spin your world (at least if you are a flyer)!
